HAPPY NEW YEAR! Thank you for all your great support the last year, you guys are amazing. #supporthandmade
My latest collection is named ` P L A Y `. My inspiration come from the beautiful Japanese kimono and obis. I have used their pretty colors combinations and translated them into my weavings. I used to visit Tokyo several times during my years working as a fashion designer. I fell totally in love with that city. Arriving in Tokyo was like entering another world.
The other part of the collection is kept in creme and blue hues. I found the pretty dip dyed wool in the town where I was born, Haderslev in the south of Denmark. I saved it for this special project. Still the Japanese kimono´s and obi´s are my inspiration. I like how the thin wool yarn and the bulky wool roving go hand in hand..
oh so blue wall art featured in the September issue of Danish interior magazine Boligmagasinet. #tak
I had a wonderful Friday morning meeting with my friend Diana picking apples and sharing creative ideas. I met Diana through Instagram last year, she is so inspiring and warm hearted. Her photo skills are amazing and I enjoy watching her play with light, shadows and composition. Photo credit @diana_lovring
Once in a while I spend time re-decoration my son´s room. I love to mix & match homemade, vintage and new decor in his nusery. I collect all his drawings in a big book. When i re-decorate I look through the book and find new things for his wall. My favorite drawing is the paper doll with the checked shirt and a big tag, saying ´i love dad`…
I´m proud to see my woven wall hanging collection in the newly renovated penthouse apartments at Hotel Kong Arthur in Copenhagen, Denmark. Here nicely mixed with accessories from #placedebleu, styling #heyhome, photo #jacobkirk.
We spent two week during the Summer in Denmark. We visited beautiful places as Skagen, Samsø and Rømø. We had a wonderful time there with friends & family.
