The Art of Making a Tapestry

I was trained a designer, I´ve worked as a fashion designer for two decades. Weaving was a big part of my education, I was weaving all my fabrics, I used for my collections, on huge floor looms. I look back at the years from 1994-1997 as some of the best years of my life. I LOVED my school of Design.

I found this beautiful film on Youtube, it´s the story of `The Art of Making a Tapestry, just wanted to share it with you..

I have a friend, her name is @dianalovring – when I´m in need of a talented and inspirational photographer I call her. Lucky me, we only live 5 minutes from each other. I had some ideas for a photo shoot for oh so blue, and Diana added that bit of magic – thank you D, I love the result, you are the best!

Some time ago a met a beautiful soul. Her passion for love & life is magical. She is to me a new great inspiration @tinacharlotteblomstergren – she wrote this article about me and Ohsoblue #grateful

Ohh London

I’m proud of adding a bit of danish design on a wall in one of my favorite cities – London. Bye bye darling take good care. Last photo taken by my 6 year old son 🙂

Adding new colors

This piece I have shaped the corners a bit to get a more organic / round shape in the bottom. I play with a wooden loom, pure wool, brass stick and black leather string. I like that feel. These are my favorite colors right now, I hope you like them too 🙂
