I travelled the world and I live abroad. Yet, inside I still wander wide-open landscapes of home, dreaming Nordic dreams. Along the foggy dream-coasts with sandy soils, I soak the smell of seaweed and spruce, while the salty air tickles my cheeks. Oh, over these blue waters, strong winds shall carry my Nordic dreams.
We just finished the Easter letters for his cousins in Denmark. I told him that after he decorated all the letters he could have a chocolate egg, I´m not quite sure he understood me. 😉 But in the end he finally made it. I love the Easter poems we wrote on the letters, here´s few of them..some in Danish and one in English..
One letter on each line spells my name It’s up to you to guess my little game But if by Easter Day The answer hasn’t come your way Then you owe me a gift – what a shame!
I don´t think I ever shared with you my favorite wall hanging. I kept it in creme wool, with a hint of dusty rose. In the wool I mixed a thin brass metal thread, it gave the piece an arty feel. I sold it to a beautiful getaway in Scotland, named Killiehuntly Farmhouse. I can´t wait to go there this Spring to visit this unique place and to explore the wild nature…
Since we live in the UK now, we celebrate Mother´s Day March the 6. In Denmark Mother´s Day is not until May. To all mothers around the world. HAPPY MOTHER´S DAY. `There is no way to be a perfect mother… but a million ways to be a good one ` #iwillbeherealways
